Job summary

Ørsted invites a student to join the Bioenergy Sustainability team, assisting with GIS mapping, spatial data processing, and data-driven analysis for mangrove planting and rainforest restoration. You will help organise, visualise, and quality-check project data while supporting due diligence and developing efficient data workflows.

You will work 20 hours weekly while studying a relevant university program, with a focus on nature conservation, carbon sequestration concepts, and Earth system

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a relevant university program (e.g., BSc/MSc) and preferably in later stage of studies.
• Familiarity with GIS software such as ArcGIS or QGIS is preferred.
• Proficient in Excel and Google Drive; keen to learn to support nature-based climate projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist GIS mapping and spatial analysis for mangrove planting, rainforest restoration, and related sites.
• Process, structure, and quality-check spatial datasets, field data, and satellite imagery.
• Support project due diligence by organizing and analysing project data and documentation; help develop efficient data workflows.
