Ørsted A/S in Denmark seeks a motivated student to join Bioenergy, assisting with GIS mapping, spatial data processing, and analysis of field and project data for mangrove planting and rainforest restoration.
You will help organize, visualise, and quality-check data, support data workflows, and contribute to due diligence. The role requires interest in nature-based climate solutions and a 20-hour weekly commitment, with accommodation support available.
Join us in this role where you’ll be part of our work with nature-based carbon projects, assisting with GIS mapping, spatial data processing, and analysis of field and project data. You’ll play a key role in helping us organise, visualise, and quality-check data related to mangrove planting, rainforest restoration, and other nature-based carbon activities, while also supporting the team with project due diligence. You’ll also support the team in developing efficient data workflows to improve data management, documentation, and analysis.
As a team, we work closely together across disciplines, and you’ll contribute with your capabilities and developing your own expertise in nature-based climate solutions.
Maybe you’ve read the above and can see you have some transferable skills, even though they don’t quite match all the points. If you think you can bring something to the team, we still encourage you to apply.
As an applicant or employee, you may request reasonable work and position accommodation or adjustments via accommodation@orsted.com.
