Job summary

Copenhagen Business School invites applications for a Research Assistant with a focus on supporting our research cluster in geopolitics, geoeconomics and business cluster at the Department of Business Humanities and Law. The research assistant position is a 1 year position. The position is 22.5 hours per week.

The expected starting date is Nov 1, 2026. The position is part of the geopolitics, geoeconomics and business cluster within the broader Geopolitics and Business Security Initiative.

Qualifications

• Master degree or equivalent qualifications.
• Professional proficiency in English (written and spoken).
• Interest and curiosity for geopolitical research.
• Structured and organized approach.
• Experience with project management, coordination and relevant tools.
• Experience with stakeholder engagement.
• German language is an advantage but not required.

Responsibilities

• Administrative tasks and reporting to Cluster Lead about ongoing activities/events/workshops.
• Administrative and project coordination tasks, including reporting on activities, events and workshops.
• Basic project management tasks: preparing meeting materials, taking minutes and scheduling meetings.
• Supporting grant applications and project reporting.
• Organizing workshops, conferences and stakeholder activities.
