Job summary

Maersk Project Logistics in Aarhus is seeking a Customer Solutions Engineer for our Aid & Relief Operations team to design and deliver complex logistics solutions for global customers. You will work closely with the Operations Manager and Business Development to translate customer needs into cost-effective, end-to-end transport concepts.

The ideal candidate has freight forwarding or shipping experience, strong English communication, and a collaborative mindset to build trusted partnerships

Qualifications

• Experience from freight forwarding, shipping or logistics.
• High understanding of cross-trade and incoterms.
• Excellent communication in English, both written and verbal.
• Experience in account management.

Responsibilities

• Manage tender bidding process and coordinate with colleagues to submit competitive offers.
• Build and create technical transport solutions via sea, air, road, rail, and charter with support from colleagues.
• Develop and prepare new logistics concepts and value propositions based on best technical and organizational solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• As Customer Solutions Engineer in Maersk Project Logistics you will be part of a winning team with high growth ambitions within Aid & Relief.
• You’ll be working closely with the Operations Manager and Business Development Team to address the customer’s requirements with cost-effective, high-quality end to end logistics solutions which can be effectively implemented and executed.
• In this role you will: Manage the tender bidding process and co-ordinate with colleagues to ensure a comprehensive and competitive offer is submitted to the customers.
• Build and create technical transport solutions via sea, air, road, rail, and charter with support and knowledge-sharing from your colleagues.
• You will develop and prepare new logistics concepts and value propositions based on identified best technical and organizational solutions.
