About the Opportunity
Our client is looking for a hands-on FPGA / Digital Design Engineer with strong expertise in RTL development and digital hardware design. The ideal candidate should be comfortable developing complex, high-speed FPGA systems involving multiple clock domains and converting architectural concepts and technical requirements into reliable RTL implementations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement robust RTL architectures for high-performance and multi-clock digital systems.
- Convert system-level specifications, architectural concepts and functional requirements into efficient RTL designs.
- Design and implement reliable solutions for Clock Domain Crossing (CDC) across multiple asynchronous clock domains.
- Work extensively with VHDL and/or SystemVerilog for digital hardware development.
- Analyse RTL and coding approaches to understand their impact on synthesis, timing, resource utilisation and the final FPGA implementation.
- Perform FPGA development and implementation using industry-standard tools such as Xilinx Vivado and/or Intel Quartus.
- Participate throughout the FPGA development lifecycle, from architecture and RTL design through implementation.
- Troubleshoot complex digital design issues and contribute strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Collaborate with other engineering teams to deliver reliable and scalable FPGA-based solutions.
