Terma A/S is seeking an FPGA Developer to work hands-on on GNSS-based SDR solutions. You will develop, implement and verify FPGA functionality in a collaborative, cross-disciplinary team of about 10 colleagues and two student workers, contributing from concept to working solution.

The role emphasizes asynchronous clock-domain crossings, metastability mitigation and efficient use of DSP resources, embedded memory and pipelining. Fluency in English is required; Danish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Electrical Engineering degree with at least 5 years of hands-on FPGA development experience.
• Experience handling asynchronous clock-domain crossings in complex designs.
• Familiarity with metastability mitigation and corresponding analysis methods.
• Practical use of pipelining, DSP resources and embedded memory in FPGA implementations.
• Solid understanding of complex arithmetic, frequency-domain analysis and digital signal processing.

Your role in our team

As our new FPGA Developer, you will help build a GNSS-based solution on an SDR platform together with the platform architect and embedded software developers. You will take an active part in turning signal-processing algorithms into efficient FPGA implementations and ensuring that they work reliably as part of the overall platform.

In this role, you will be involved throughout the development process, from implementation and verification to integration with the surrounding system. The work combines hands‑on FPGA development with close collaboration across disciplines and gives you a central role in bringing GNSS functionality from concept to working solution.

You will become part of a team of 10 colleagues and two student workers, bringing together different technical disciplines and areas of expertise. The team works closely together in the day‑to‑day development, with an informal and collaborative way of working.

How you will make a meaningful contribution

Your key responsibilities include:

• You have a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, combined with at least 5 years of hands‑on experience in FPGA development

• Familiarity with metastability mitigation and the corresponding analysis methods
• Practical use of pipelining, DSP resources and embedded memory
