Job summary

3Shape is seeking an FP&A Manager to join our global Financial Planning and Analysis team. This individual contributor role focuses on driving analysis and cross-functional influence in a fast-paced, international environment, based at our Copenhagen headquarters.

You will manage forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning processes, deliver insights and KPI analyses to senior management, and own ad-hoc projects.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of FP&A, business controlling, or similar analytical roles.
• Master’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or related field.
• Proven track record in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Strong business and analytical acumen; translate data into actionable insights for stakeholders.
• Proactive, owns projects and processes independently.
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint; interest in Power BI and AI tools is a plus.
• Fluent in English; extra European language is a plus.

Job description

We are looking for an FP&A Manager to join our global Financial Planning and Analysis team. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical capabilities and stakeholder management skills, and thrives in a fast-paced, international environment. This is an individual contributor role (no people leadership), offering the opportunity to drive impact through analysis and cross-functional influence.

In FP&A we are working in the space between Finance and the Business, supporting the financial decision-making process by understanding what drives business performance and the actions needed to support the strategic direction.

You will join a small, tight-knit FP&A team within the broader global Finance Partnering & Planning and Pricing department (10 colleagues), anchored within the CFO area – an engaging, globally oriented team focused on delivering value to both 3Shape and to the professional growth of our team members.

The position is based at 3Shape's headquarters in Copenhagen.

Key responsibilities

• Drive and develop core processes within forecasting, performance follow-up, and financial planning.
• Deliver in-depth insights into financial results and key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide recommendations to support strategic decision‑making at senior management level.
• Prepare and present financial reports to Senior Management and other key stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement of processes and reporting to strengthen analysis depth, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Take ownership of ad‑hoc analysis and special projects.

Your Skills and Qualifications

• You have 3‑5 years of relevant experience from FP&A, Business Controlling, or similar analytical roles. Experience from an international organization would be an advantage.
• You hold a master’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or a related field.
• You have a proven track record of managing budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes.
• You have strong business, financial, and analytical acumen – able to turn complex data into a clear "why" and "so what" for the business and communicate it confidently to stakeholders at all levels.
• You are proactive and comfortable taking ownership of and leading projects and processes independently.
• You have solid Excel and PowerPoint skills, and an interest in using Power BI, AI (Claude, Copilot) and other emerging technologies would be an advantage.
• You are fluent in English, both written and spoken. Proficiency in an additional European language is an advantage.
