Job summary

NTG | Nordic Transport Group A/S is seeking a Group Financial Controller to strengthen internal and external reporting across the Group from our headquarters in Hvidovre. You will contribute to developing the controllling framework, internal controls and accounting processes while liaising with auditors and driving efficiency.

The role offers exposure to IFRS reporting, audits, acquisitions and group-wide finance processes in a fast-moving international company with a forward-looking finance

Qualifications

• Background in accounting, audit, financial reporting or controlling.
• Interest in IFRS and group finance; Big4 experience is a plus.
• Proactive, structured and ownership-minded; team player.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring correct internal and external group reporting in accordance with IFRS, incl. quarterly and annual reports
• Preparation of local statutory accounts in accordance with the Danish Financial Statements Act (ÅRL)
• Preparation of audit documentation
• Coordination and ongoing dialogue with external auditors
• Preparation of opening balances in connection with acquisitions
• Strengthening and improving existing internal controls
• Performing ad hoc analyses and finance projects
• Contributing to process improvements and smarter ways of working across Group Finance

What you’ll be stepping into

NTG operates across more than 80 entities, multiple countries and transportation segments.

As Group Financial Controller, you will be a key contributor to ensuring high‑quality internal and external reporting across the Group, while also playing an important role in developing our controlling framework, internal controls and accounting processes.

You’ll be part of Group Finance at our headquarters in Hvidovre, working closely with engaged colleagues who value professionalism, collaboration and a pragmatic approach to complex financial matters – and who share a strong ambition to move the finance function forward.

Your key responsibilities

In this role, you will work broadly across financial reporting, controlling and development tasks, including:

• Ensuring correct internal and external group reporting in accordance with IFRS, incl. quarterly and annual reports
• Preparation of local statutory accounts in accordance with the Danish Financial Statements Act (ÅRL)
• Preparation of audit documentation

What we're looking for

You have a background within accounting, audit, financial reporting, or controlling and are ready to continue building your career in finance.

You have an interest in financial reporting and accounting and are eager to develop your knowledge of IFRS and group finance. Experience from a controller role or a Big4 environment is an advantage, but not a requirement.

You're proactive, structured, and comfortable taking ownership. You enjoy working with others, finding better ways of doing things, and contributing to a team that keeps moving forward.
