Job summary

The Fine Biscuits Company Group (FBC Group) is hiring a Financial Controller to join its finance team. You will lead month-end closing, ensure high-quality reporting, and drive process improvements in a hands-on role within a growing organization.

Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, you will balance 50% operational finance tasks with 50% development initiatives, shaping the finance function and enhancing data reliability across the group.

Qualifications

• Relevant finance degree and several years of controller or audit experience.
• Experience across the finance function and ability to work independently.
• Structured, detail-oriented and quality-conscious with timely delivery.

Responsibilities

• Drive and participate in the month-end closing process.
• Prepare monthly reporting and follow up on deviations.
• Automate and optimize finance processes.

About the Role

As a Financial Controller, you will become a key part of our finance function, which currently consists of five team members, reporting directly to the Finance Manager.

You will take on a hands‑on role with responsibility for month‑end closing, reporting, and controlling, with a primary focus on ensuring high quality, structure, and reliable financial data.

The role offers a balanced mix of responsibilities, with approximately 50% of the work consisting of operational and well‑established finance tasks, while the remaining 50% focuses on development and optimization initiatives. This provides an opportunity to influence processes, drive improvements, and contribute to the continued development of the finance function in an evolving organization.

Main Responsibilities

• Drive and actively participate in the month‑end closing process
• Prepare monthly reporting and follow up on deviations
• Automation and optimization of processes
• Support the budgeting process and ongoing forecasts
• Assist with the annual report, including documentation

Who we are looking for

You hold a relevant degree in finance and have a few years of experience as a Controller or Auditor. You are used to working broadly across the finance function and are comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.

You are structured, detail‑oriented, and quality‑conscious – and you deliver on time.

Experience with SAP/S/4HANA and Oracle is an advantage, but not a requirement.
