Job summary

Frey in Aarhus seeks a Finance Student to support the Finance team with month-end closing, reconciliations, and reporting across trading verticals such as grains and coffee. You will gain hands-on exposure to finance operations and automation initiatives in a fast-growing trading group.

The role involves building Power BI reports, assisting with AI tooling, and continuing data-driven process improvements. 10–20 hours per week, starting ASAP, with an opportunity to learn at the intersection of

Qualifications

Enrolled in a related bachelor’s or master’s program with at least 1.5 years left.
Strong numerical skills and Excel proficiency.
Interest in commodities trading and data automation.
Strong written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

Support monthly P&L reporting and variance analysis across Frey’s trading verticals.
Prepare and maintain reconciliations, including futures positions and mark-to-market balances.
Build and maintain reporting in Power BI, moving from Excel to automated data infrastructure.
Assist with development and testing of AI and automation tools and maintain Microsoft Business Central through testing/docs.
Support month-end close, data quality checks, and ad hoc analysis for the Finance Business Partner.
