As part of this growth, we are looking for a skilled Field Service Engineer to join our expanding team.

Your role

As Field Service Engineer in the Surveillance team you will work with our XENTA radar system, developed for Short Range Air Defense (SHORAD) and C-UAS applications. XENTA is a state-of-the-art radar system designed for high-performance 3D air surveillance of all types of air threats.

Our team’s mission is to keep our global customers satisfied. You will play a central role in this, supporting the full lifecycle from installation to operation and maintenance – both at our headquarters in Allerød and at customer sites worldwide.

Your primary tasks include:

  • Pre FAT / SAT system testing and Customer FAT / SAT testing
  • Installation, integration, and acceptance testing of Weibel radar systems
  • Customer support and incident handling
  • On‑site mission support
  • Execution of preventive maintenance programs and upgrades
  • System performance and maintenance documentation
  • Root cause analysis and recommendations for corrective actions
  • Training of customer personnel in system operation and maintenance

We offer continuous training, and your responsibilities will increase as your expertise grows.

The role includes up to 75 yearly travel days, sometimes on short notice. You must be able to travel freely within the EU and enter the USA under an ESTA permit or equivalent.

Your Profile

We are looking for a service‑minded technical professional who enjoys taking ownership and thrives in dynamic, real‑world environments. To succeed in this role, you combine solid technical skills with a proactive and structured mindset.

Your experience and competences:

  • A formal technical education with a strong understanding of IT systems, electronics, and mechanical principles
  • Practical hands‑on experience with electronics, tools, and test equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics
  • Basic knowledge of multi‑pin connectors and their repair
  • Strong communication skills in written and spoken English

If you also are familiar with industry practices, it will be an advantage, but not a requirement for this role.

Your approach:

  • You take initiative and work effectively both independently and in collaboration with others
  • You plan and prioritize your tasks with care, even when conditions change
  • You maintain an open mindset and communicate confidently with people from diverse cultures and professional backgrounds
  • You approach customers with professionalism, patience, and a strong sense of responsibility
  • You thrive working in the field with hands‑on tasks, both independently and with customers
