Qualifications

• Technical or scientific degree in mechanical or medical engineering.
• Strong CAD experience and ability to visualize complex assemblies.
• Experience with high-volume, safety-critical medical devices.
• Knowledge of FDA/ISO documentation and risk analyses.

Responsibilities

• Identify user needs and define design inputs and specs with stakeholders.
• Influence major development projects within Ambu’s portfolio.
• Develop and optimize mechanical components and assemblies for endoscopy, anesthesia, and patient monitoring.
• Ensure designs are manufacturable in high volume and within cost targets.
• Document designs with FMEAs, risk assessments, and tolerance analyses.
