Job summary

Boozt Fashion ApS in Copenhagen seeks a mid-senior PHP developer to help build and maintain our ecommerce platforms. You will work on Symfony-based services, optimize performance, and contribute to feature development across multiple squads.

We value collaboration with internal stakeholders, CI/CD driven deployment, and a strong focus on search and product listing experiences using Elasticsearch and related tools. English is the corporate language and the team is based at our Copenhagen HQ.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of PHP development experience.
• Experience with PHP frameworks (Symfony is a plus).
• In-depth knowledge of database management systems.
• Experience collaborating with various in-house stakeholders.
• English as corporate language; applications in English only.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain PHP applications (Symfony).
• Automate manual tasks to empower business users.
• Improve system performance and update technologies.
• Implement new features and integrations across services.
• Work in CI/CD driven agile environment with multiple daily deployments.
• Collaborate with business units to plan and specify projects.
• Maintain and improve system integrations (RabbitMQ, Google Pub/Sub, APIs).

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Development and maintenance in PHP (Symfony framework).
• Automation of manual tasks to help the business users do their everyday work.
• Update and improve new and existing technologies to ensure high system performance.
• Implementation of new features and functions.
• Multiple deployments a day due to continuous integration and an agile workflow.
• Interaction with various business units to help determine, plan and specify projects.
• Maintaining and improving system integrations (RabbitMQ and Google Pub/Sub and various APIs).
• Development and optimization of e-commerce search and product listing experiences using Elasticsearch and Manticore Search, with focus on relevance tuning, ranking strategies, and merchandising rules.

YOUR PROFILE

• At least 4 years of working experience in PHP Development.
• Experience working with PHP frameworks (Symfony is a plus).
• In-depth knowledge of database management systems.
• Experience in working closely with various in-house stakeholders.
• BS or MS in either Computer Science or related technical fields is desirable.
• English is our corporate language, therefore only applications in English will be considered.
