Job summary

AdventureRecruit UAE in Horsens, Denmark, is seeking an Excavator Operator to operate heavy machinery, excavate, load materials, and move earth according to site plans.

You will follow safety procedures, perform routine maintenance, read blueprints, and work with a team to meet project deadlines. The role is full-time with 40 hours per week and a starting salary of $1,300 per month, plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have proven experience operating an excavator and working around construction sites.
• Valid license to operate heavy machinery.
• Knowledge of safe operating practices for heavy equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints and follow supervisor instructions.
• Physically fit with good hand-eye coordination.

Responsibilities

• Operate the excavator to dig trenches, foundations, and other structures per blueprints or supervisor instructions.
• Load and unload materials using the excavator bucket.
• Move materials around the site as needed to support workflow.
• Perform routine maintenance and report equipment issues to supervisors.
• Follow all safety guidelines and regulations while operating the excavator.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure efficient progress.
• Keep accurate daily records of hours, materials moved, and incidents.

Job description

As an Excavator Operator you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery to excavate move and grade earth Your main duties will include operating the excavator controls to dig load and move materials maintaining and servicing the equipment and following safety procedures at all times

Responsibilities

• Operate the excavator to dig trenches foundations and other necessary structures according to blueprints or instructions from supervisors
• Load and unload materials such as dirt rocks and debris using the excavators bucket
• Move materials around construction site as needed
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and report any malfunctions or damages to supervisors
• Follow all safety guidelines and regulations while operating the excavator
• Communicate effectively with other team members to ensure efficient work flow
• Keep accurate records of daily activities including hours worked materials moved and any incidents that occur on site

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Excavator Operator or similar role
• Valid operators license for heavy machinery
• Knowledge of safe operation practices for heavy equipment
• Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions from supervisors
• Physically fit with good hand-eye coordination
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
• High attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred Additional training or certification in heavy equipment operation is a plus

Salary

Starting salary for this position is $1300 per month

Location

This position is located in Horsens but may require travel within the region

Working Hours

This is a full-time position with standard working hours of 40 hours per week Overtime may be required depending on project deadlines
