Job summary

VitalEssence Spa is seeking an skilled Excavator Operator to join our on-site team in Herning, Denmark. You will operate excavators and related heavy machinery to dig, move and grade earth according to project specs, while maintaining safety and efficiency.

Job description

We are in search of a skilled Excavator Operator to join our team in Herning Denmark.

As an Excavator Operator you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery to excavate, move and grade earth or other materials according to project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-operation checks on equipment and ensure proper maintenance and repairs are completed
• Operate excavator and other heavy machinery safely and efficiently in various work environments
• Follow project plans and specifications to accurately excavate, move and grade materials
• Monitor equipment operation and make necessary adjustments to ensure productivity and safety
• Communicate with team members on the ground to coordinate tasks effectively
• Comply with all safety regulations and maintain a clean work area

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Excavator Operator
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record
• Knowledge of excavation techniques, equipment maintenance and safety procedures
• Ability to read project plans, blueprints and maps
• Physically fit with good hand-eye coordination for operating controls
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
