Job summary

At Aarhus University, Department of Biological and Chemical Engineering, we seek an EU project manager with international experience to drive large Horizon Europe projects. You will coordinate researchers, external partners, and the department’s Partnerships and External Relations team.

Responsibilities include day‑to‑day consortium contact, deliverable tracking, reporting, and organizing meetings, while ensuring compliance and data management.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with EU project execution and reporting.
• Ability to work with researchers in technical fields and quality‑assure deliverables.
• Experience coordinating international research consortia and partners.
• Ability to discuss technical content with researchers on their terms.

Responsibilities

• Act as the day‑to‑day operational point of contact for the consortium.
• Drive coordination: track deliverables, milestones and risks; chase contributions.
• Prepare periodic/final reporting and coordinate with AU’s research support office.
• Plan and run consortium meetings and maintain agreements on data, ethics and dissemination.
• Support development of new European proposals and consortia building.

Education

Academic degree in a relevant field (e.g., technical sciences, international relations)

Experience with Horizon Europe/Horizon 2020 project management
