ERP Implementation Consultant – Denmark
Danish-speaking | Denmark-based | Hybrid | Full-time
Local ownership. International reach. Meaningful operational impact.
We are looking for an experienced ERP Implementation Consultant who understands Danish businesses, communicates naturally with local customers and is comfortable working as part of an international organisation.
You will become a key point of contact for our Danish customers and take ownership of implementations of XDMS, our ERP and dealer management platform.
The position combines hands-on functional consultancy, project leadership, stakeholder management and business process improvement.
This is not a role in which you merely collect requirements and pass them on.
You will remain closely involved from the first discovery workshop through solution design, configuration, testing, training and go-live - and you will continue to support the customer as the new way of working becomes embedded in the organisation.
Your role
You will take responsibility for ERP implementation and transformation projects, primarily in Denmark and, where relevant, elsewhere in the Nordic region and Europe.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading end-to-end ERP and dealer management system implementations;
- Conducting discovery, process-mapping and fit-gap workshops with management, key users and operational teams;
- Analysing existing business processes and translating them into practical, scalable ERP solutions;
- Configuring XDMS in line with the customer’s operational and organisational requirements;
- Coordinating integrations, data migration, user acceptance testing and cut-over activities;
- Preparing and delivering training for key users and operational teams;
- Managing go-lives and providing structured post-go-live support;
- Coordinating customers, partners, manufacturers, consultants, developers and other stakeholders;
- Advising customers on process optimisation, standardisation and best practice;
- Identifying Danish business, accounting and market-specific requirements and translating them for our product and development teams;
- Building trusted, long-term customer relationships and helping to strengthen Xpower's presence in Denmark;
- Contributing your practical experience to implementation methodologies, product development and international best practices.
What you bring
You combine sound business judgement with a genuine interest in technology and process improvement.
We would particularly value:
- Hands-on experience in ERP implementation, functional consultancy, business analysis, application consultancy or operational transformation;
- Experience with at least one complete ERP implementation lifecycle;
- A strong understanding of one or more core business areas, such as finance, purchasing, sales, inventory, warehousing, workshop operations, aftersales, service management or reporting;
- The ability to understand how operational processes, systems and data interact;
- Confidence in leading workshops and presenting recommendations to both operational users and senior decision-makers;
- Excellent stakeholder-management and communication skills;
- A structured, pragmatic and solution-oriented approach;
- The ability to work independently, take ownership and make sound decisions;
- Fluency in both Danish and English, spoken and written;
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in business administration, finance, economics, IT, engineering or a related discipline - or an equivalent level of expertise gained through professional experience;
- Residence in Denmark, or a firm intention to relocate there;
- A valid driving licence and willingness to travel regularly within Denmark and occasionally elsewhere in Europe.
Experience in automotive retail, truck and bus operations, agricultural or construction equipment, machinery dealerships, workshop management, spare parts, distribution or another service-intensive environment would be a strong advantage, but is not essential.
What makes this position different?
You will not be one consultant among many working on a small part of a large programme.
You will have visible responsibility and direct influence. You will work closely with customers, product specialists and developers, and you will see the practical results of your recommendations.
The role offers:
- A central position in Xpower's continued growth in Denmark;
- Genuine ownership of customer relationships and implementation projects;
- A high degree of autonomy, supported by experienced international colleagues;
- Direct access to the people who design, develop and support the product;
- International collaboration without losing your local Danish focus;
- Exposure to complex, multi-site and multi-company organisations;
- The opportunity to influence both customer solutions and the future development of XDMS;
- A working environment with short communication lines, practical decision-making and room for initiative.
What we offer
We provide the support and resources you need to succeed:
- A competitive fixed salary and benefits package aligned with the Danish market;
- A company car or suitable mobility arrangement;
- Private health insurance;
- A mobile telephone and laptop;
- Reimbursement of business travel expenses and applicable international daily allowances;
- A flexible working arrangement combining home working, customer visits and collaboration with the wider Xpower team;
- A structured onboarding and training programme covering XDMS, our implementation methodology and the markets in which we operate;
- Ongoing coaching from experienced consultants, product specialists and project leaders;
- A long-term position in a growing European software company with ambitious plans for Denmark and the wider Nordic region.
