Job summary

Siemens Gamesa in Denmark is seeking an Equipment Value Engineer to lead value engineering initiatives aimed at reducing offshore wind equipment costs. You will bridge Product Management and Platform Management to translate strategy into cost-effective, profitable solutions.

You will drive COP programs, conduct should-cost analyses, and present business cases with savings estimates, risks, and implementation costs, collaborating with procurement, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to optimize

Qualifications

• Experience in value engineering and cost optimization for mechanical products.
• Strong skills in business case development and financial modeling.
• Ability to lead complex projects from concept to execution with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Equipment Cost Out portfolio and COP programs for DD & NG platforms.
• Provide governance and reporting cadence to grow the value pipeline.
• Collaborate with procurement, manufacturing, and supply chain to evaluate costs.
• Conduct should-cost analyses and lead DFM/ DFA reviews for new and existing products.
• Develop and present business cases with savings, costs, and risks.
