Job description

As an Entry Level Turner in Esbjerg Denmark you will be responsible for operating and maintaining manual and computer-controlled machine tools to produce precision metal parts. You will work with a variety of materials such as steel, aluminum, brass and plastic to create parts for various industries including automotive, aerospace and manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate manual and computer-controlled machine tools such as lathes, mills, grinders and drills
• Read blueprints and specifications to determine the dimensions of the final product
• Use precision measuring instruments to ensure the accuracy of the finished product
• Make adjustments to machine settings to control speed, feed and depth of cut
• Inspect finished products for quality and make any necessary adjustments
• Maintain a clean work area and perform routine maintenance on machines
• Follow all safety protocols while operating machinery

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent education
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or machining environment is preferred but not required
• Basic understanding of blueprints and measuring instruments
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to learn new skills and techniques
