Job summary

gea Denmark is seeking a Sourcing Specialist to strengthen our Operational Procurement team in Søborg. You will own supplier selection, negotiations and sourcing decisions across engineering projects, ensuring quality, delivery and competitive terms.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Project Management, Supply Chain and Quality to secure critical suppliers and services, manage risks and drive value through structured procurement processes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience within sourcing, purchasing or procurement.
• Experience sourcing technical products, components or services.
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
• Experience working in a project-based or engineering-driven organization.
• Structured and proactive approach to problem solving.
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Lead sourcing activities for electronic components and related technical services across multiple projects.
• Drive supplier selection, commercial negotiations and contract execution.
• Manage supplier performance and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Identify supply risks and implement mitigation actions to support project delivery.
• Contribute to category management and sourcing strategies in collaboration with Global Procurement.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to align sourcing priorities with project requirements.
• Support the development of procurement processes, tools and ways of working.
