Job summary

Jobgether and its partner are seeking an Engineering Manager - Security Standards and Hardening based in Denmark. You will lead a team of engineers responsible for strengthening security across operating systems, cloud, edge environments, and modern software platforms.

This leadership role combines people management with hands-on security work, guiding adoption of FIPS, CIS, STIG, FedRAMP, and the Cyber Resilience Act, and collaborating with industry partners to advance secure open-source

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS or related technical field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience leading engineering teams with coaching and growth.
• Experience with FIPS or Common Criteria certified products.
• Hands-on with DISA STIG or CIS benchmarks and audit/remediation tooling.
• Strong security, software security, and secure engineering practices.
• Experience in Agile environments.
• Excellent English communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of engineers across levels.

• Implement disciplined engineering processes.
• Represent the team with stakeholders and partners.
• Plan and manage progress against goals and deliverables.

• Drive cryptographic module initiatives and FIPS 140 compliance.
• Collaborate with security partners to advance secure deployments.
• Guide adoption of security best practices and high software quality.
• Identify opportunities to improve workflows and delivery practices.
• Ensure projects stay aligned with priorities and deliver timely.
