Precis is seeking a senior engineering leader to drive software projects from inception to delivery in a fast-paced digital environment. You will mentor engineering teams, align cross-functional stakeholders, and guide architectural decisions to ensure scalable, high-performance systems.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, strategic thinking, and ongoing learning to stay ahead of technology trends, including AI tools and modern frontend/backend stacks.

What You Will Be Doing

• Lead software projects from inception to delivery, overseeing project planning, execution, and delivery, and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Manage and mentor engineering teams, providing guidance, support, and coaching to help team members grow and excel in their roles.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to define technical requirements, prioritize features, and drive product roadmap initiatives.
• Act as a technical advisor and subject matter expert, providing guidance and support on critical technical decisions, architecture, and design.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and technical excellence within the engineering organization.

What We Are Looking For

• Mastery of relevant programming languages, frameworks, and technologies, with extensive experience in software development and architecture.
• Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering complex software projects, with a focus on quality, performance, and scalability.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and influence cross-functional teams.
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on driving innovation, efficiency, and technical excellence.
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development, with a passion for staying at the forefront of technology advancements and industry trends.
• Proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript, alongside practical experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React and Next.js.
• Hands-on experience in designing, deploying, and maintaining applications and infrastructure optimized for media assets (storage, processing, delivery, or streaming).
• Familiarity and interest with modern developer ecosystems and AI tools (including LLMs, coding assistants, and automated pipelines) to streamline engineering practices.
