Job summary

EG is seeking an Engineering Director to own the ASPECT4 platform spanning three verticals—Transport, Manufacturing, and Fashion—and lead managers through change. You will drive modernization with AI-enabled development and set the technology strategy for a platform used across Denmark and India.

You will report to the VP of Engineering and join the engineering management team, owning the full platform and collaborating with cross-border teams.

Qualifications

• Proven track record leading managers, not just individual contributors.
• Experience delivering both SaaS and on-premises software to customers.
• Fluent in English; Danish not required.
• Able to set and communicate technical direction across a core platform and modern practices.
• Earned trust by guiding teams where they know more than you.
• Location: Central Jutland, main office in Aarhus, with people in Kolding & Ikast.

Responsibilities

• 40% people leadership – design and lead your teams across Denmark and India.
• 40% technology strategy – modernising SDLC, agentic development, and platform modernization across three verticals.
• 20% customer and stakeholder engagement – represent ASPECT4's direction to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Own the ongoing modernization of the tech stack as a live-delivery priority, not a side project.
