Job summary

Maersk Oil Trading is seeking a Product Controller to own daily P&L, valuations and exposure reporting for a Copenhagen team. You will work across physical and derivative trading of marine fuels, crude and low-carbon products, partnering with traders and risk teams.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years in product control or related roles, strong Excel, and familiarity with market risk concepts. The role offers on-site work in Copenhagen and opportunities to broaden across products and regions.

Qualifications

2-5 years in Product Control, Market Risk, Middle Office or similar trading support role.
Understanding of commodity trading economics and hedging concepts.
Familiarity with P&L, mark-to-market valuations and exposure management.
Experience in physical and derivative trading environments preferred.

Responsibilities

Produce and validate daily P&L across physical and derivative positions.
Prepare and review daily position and exposure reports for trading desks and management.
Apply forward curves and spreads to valuation of trading portfolios and support IPV.
Maintain controls and reconciliations to ensure accuracy of P&L and valuations.
Partner with Front Office, Risk and Finance to provide insights for decision-making.
