Job summary

IMC, a leading trading firm in Aarhus, seeks an experienced Compliance Officer to join the branch compliance team. You will own and defend your workstreams, interact with traders, developers and management, and coordinate with European compliance teams.

The role emphasizes hands-on governance and regulatory interaction within a dynamic trading environment. Based in Aarhus, you will contribute to the European framework while ensuring robust compliance across energy markets and algorithmic trading

Qualifications

At least 5 years of compliance experience in trading, energy, or regulatory environments.
Solid knowledge of MiFID II/MiFIR and MAR frameworks.
Experience with REMIT and wholesale energy markets is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

Assist with market abuse surveillance for the energy desk and support investigations.
Monitor the branch's regulatory reporting (MiFIR, REMIT, EMIR) and coordinate corrections.
Advise on new products, venues and trading strategies and support RTS 6 governance.
Maintain the branch compliance framework: policies, Danish AML obligations, training and attestations.
Support regulator, exchange and audit interactions: AFM and Danish FSA requests and audits.
Keep compliance records and tracking in good order to evidence decisions.
