Job summary

Sensori is seeking an Electrical Supervisor to lead electrical trades on site, translating weekly plans into daily allocations and ensuring safe, compliant installations to drawings and quality standards. You will brief crews, monitor targets, manage materials and coordinate with other trades, while coaching apprentices.

The role requires ownership of the area and people, with shift patterns and project travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Qualified electrician with National Craft Certificate and site safety card.
• Minimum three years supervising electrical crews on commercial/industrial projects.
• Knowledge of wiring regulations, installation practice, and permit-to-work systems.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and single-line diagrams.
• Experience with digital inspection checklists and installation records.
• Organised, reliable and good people-management and communication.
• Basic computer skills for reporting and timesheets.
• Willing to work shift patterns and travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and allocate daily work for electricians, apprentices and subcontract labour.
• Deliver daily briefings and toolbox talks with risk assessments and permits.
• Supervise installation of containment, cabling, distribution equipment and control systems.
• Carry out first-line quality checks and complete installation records.
• Manage materials and plant, minimise waste and double handling.
• Coordinate with other trades to resolve clashes and keep areas available.
• Record progress, hours and labour returns; report progress and risks.
• Support testing and pre-energisation work under supervision.
• Maintain housekeeping and welfare standards; escalateunsafe conditions.
• Coach apprentices and contribute to performance reviews.
