Job summary

1st Choice Recruitment Services is seeking an Electrical Engineer to own the electrical engineering cycle from design review through commissioning on major Nordic projects. You will work with BIM, design teams, and vendors to ensure installations align with design and are fully commissioned.

You will coordinate with project teams on site in the Nordics, manage submittals and documentation, and ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical or Building Services Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience on major construction projects with HV/LV systems.
• Strong ability to manage submittals, test packs and O&M documentation.

Responsibilities

• Review electrical designs and flag gaps early.
• Validate cable sizing and provide technical recommendations.
• Drive technical submittals through the approval process.
• Track procurement and verify deliveries align with orders.
• Coordinate with BIM and design teams for buildable installation.
• Prepare test packs and O&M documentation for approval.
• Manage specialist vendors during testing and commissioning.
• Deliver client training where required.
• Ensure all activities comply with HSEQ requirements.
