Job summary

International Flavors & Fragrances Inc. is seeking an EHS & Quality Assurance Manager for our Brabrand site in Denmark.

The role combines responsibility for quality assurance (about 60%) and environmental, health & safety (about 40%) across health, biosciences, and lab activities. You will lead the site’s integrated QMS, maintain HACCP and hygiene programs, coordinate audits, and drive continuous improvement while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Significant and practical experience in Quality Assurance, EHS, Food Safety, Regulatory Compliance or a combination of these disciplines within a regulated environment.
• Strong knowledge of quality systems, food/feed safety management, HACCP principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Practical experience managing audits, regulatory inspections, deviations, CAPAs, investigations and risk assessments.
• Experience supporting laboratory, R&D, biotechnology, food ingredients, manufacturing or similar technical environments.
• Ability to interpret regulatory requirements and translate them into practical procedures, training and operational controls.
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Lead and continuously improve the Brabrand EHS and Quality Management Systems, ensuring compliance with IFF requirements and applicable regulations.
• Serve as the primary site contact for quality, food safety, regulatory and EHS matters, including authorities and auditors.
• Lead the Health & Safety Organization (AMO/AMU) and conduct workplace risk assessments (APV) and safety initiatives.
• Maintain HACCP programs, food/feed safety processes, hygiene programs and inspection readiness.
• Facilitate risk assessments, incident investigations, deviation management, root-cause analysis and CAPA implementation.
• Provide hands-on support to laboratory, pilot plant and application teams on chemical safety and compliant operations.
• Manage controlled documentation and governance through SharePoint and related systems.
• Coordinate internal audits and support external audits to drive sustainable improvements.
