Sommerset Engineering is seeking an E&I Engineer to apply electrical, instrumentation and automation expertise to demanding projects across pharma, energy and infrastructure. You will own deliverables and influence decisions from requirements through to delivery, coordinating with clients and suppliers to turn plans into progress.

Ideal candidates hold a degree in E&I or automation with 5+ years of experience, strong technical skills, and the ability to work independently while communicating

E&I Engineer Wanted — with a Firm Grip on Both Voltage and Complex Projects

Would you like to apply your electrical, instrumentation and automation expertise to solutions that must work in practice — while having a genuine say in project decisions? At Sommerset Engineering, you will own your deliverables and can lead technically demanding projects across pharmaceutical, energy, marine, infrastructure and complex construction. You will work close to both clients and decisionmakers, with the freedom to shape solutions from initial requirements through to final delivery.

Your responsibilities and influence:

• Develop and quality-assure electrical, instrumentation and automation solutions, balancing safety, functionality, operation and cost.
• Translate client needs and project requirements into robust, documented and implementable solutions.
• As Engineer or technical lead, plan deliveries and follow up on schedule, budget, quality and client communication.
• Create direction within the project team and coordinate with clients, authorities, suppliers, contractors and other advisers to turn decisions into progress.

Your profile:

• You hold a degree in electrical engineering, instrumentation and/or automation and will typically bring at least five years of relevant experience. The quality of your engineering, your independence and your ability to deliver results matter more than a specific number of years.
• You have strong technical understanding and can turn it into robust solutions together with colleagues and clients.
• You work in a structured and independent way, maintain an overview across several deliverables and seek input when it improves the outcome.
• You are confident in client-facing situations and explain technical issues and recommendations clearly and precisely.
• You contribute actively to collaboration and share knowledge so that both the project and the team become stronger.
• You communicate effectively in written and spoken Danish and English.
• Experience with industrial plants, commissioning, complex construction or other multidisciplinary project delivery would be an advantage but is not essential.
