Job summary

Quadsat is seeking an experienced Digital Signal Processing Engineer to join the RF team working on SpectraLoc, our defense product for detection, analysis, and geolocation of RF emitters. You will design and implement DSP algorithms for signal classification, interference detection, deinterleaving, and geo-localisation within SDR systems.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field.
  • Hands-on experience developing and validating DSP algorithms on RF data.
  • Experience with Python or MATLAB for DSP development.
  • Solid understanding of RF signal chains and synchronization.

Responsibilities

  • Design, prototype, and validate DSP algorithms for RF signal classification, interference detection, demodulation, signal analysis, and geo-localization within SDR systems.
  • Develop algorithm concepts, reference implementations, and validation tools in Python, MATLAB, or similar environments.
  • Work with recorded and live RF data to evaluate performance under noise, interference, and synchronization effects.
  • Contribute to direction finding and RF sensing methods such as AoA, TDOA, interferometry, beamforming, tracking, and related estimation techniques.
  • Define test methods, performance metrics, and acceptance criteria for DSP algorithms.
  • Collaborate with software, embedded, FPGA, and RF engineers to transition validated algorithms into production.
  • Provide technical leadership within DSP and RF sensing to raise algorithm quality.
