Job summary

FUJIFILM Biotechnologies is seeking a strategic, people-centered leader to shape policy and guide execution in Drug Product and Finish Goods. You will head Responsible Engineers across Assembly, Packaging, Wash & Sterilization, Formulation, Filling, and Inspection, driving performance through structured processes and stakeholder engagement.

You will establish scalable structures, own budgeting, and mentor teams to solve complex challenges while partnering with senior leadership to deliver

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years of related experience or a Master’s degree with 4+ years of related experience, preferably within life sciences or engineering
• 6+ years of experience managing, leading, and developing people
• Experience in biotech/pharma strongly preferred
• Proven success in fast-paced, changing, and project-driven organizations

Responsibilities

• Establish and improve structures that simplify daily operations, working closely with Operations managers, technicians, Process support, and Process science.
• Develop, modify, and execute company policies affecting immediate operations with potential company-wide impact.
• Own and manage a departmental budget with broad, business-segment implications.
• Select methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria to achieve results and ensure operational excellence.
• Make timely decisions that influence short-term outcomes for teams, programs, and groups.
• Engage regularly with senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to share best practices and build strong relationships.
• Guide and mentor teams on moderately complex issues, driving development of new methods to solve critical challenges.
