GEA Group, Søborg, Denmark, seeks an experienced Director of Supply Chain to lead the organization, driving excellence across logistics, shipping, and procurement interfaces while building a high-performing team. You will guide supply chain development and optimization initiatives and align with our global growth ambitions.

You will lead and develop the supply chain, translate strategy into actionable execution, and champion a collaboration-driven governance in a complex global matrix.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in supply chain, logistics and/or shipping in an international environment.
• At least 5 years of people leadership experience.
• Strong understanding of international transportation, import/export legislation and governance.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP S/4HANA or SAP.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, SCM or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop the supply chain team and drive logistics and shipping from pre-sales to delivery.
• Define and execute supply chain development initiatives aligned with the global strategy.
• Establish and drive a performance-oriented culture with KPI follow-up and continuous improvement.
• Ensure efficient handling of import/export documentation, invoices, letters of credit, and transport claims.

We are now looking for an experienced and people-focused Director Supply Chain to lead our Supply Chain organization in Søborg.In this leadership role, you will be responsible for driving operational excellence across logistics, shipping, procurement interfaces, and supply chain performance while developing a high-performing team and supporting our global growth ambitions.Based in Søborg, you will join an organization which is undergoing significant changes, and you will lead the Supply Chain organization and become part of the Procurement & Supply Chain leadership team.

As Director of Supply Chain, you will lead, coach, and develop the supply chain team and drive logistics and shipping from pre-sales to delivery. You will also lead supply chain development and optimization initiatives while supporting global capabilities and ensuring compliance across the function.

Moreover, you:

• Establish and drive a performance-oriented culture with systematic KPI follow-up and continuous improvement
• Ensure efficient handling of import/export documentation, invoices, letters of credit, and transport claims
• Define and execute supply chain development initiatives aligned with the global supply chain strategy

You are a leader who inspires collaboration and continuous improvement and can translate strategy into operational execution.

Finally, we imagine that you:

• Have several years of experience within supply chain, logistics, and/or shipping in an international environment, including at least 5 years of people leadership
• Possess strong understanding of international transportation, import/export legislation, and supply chain governance
• Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP S/4HANA, SAP, or similar business systems
• Strong financial and commercial understanding
• Hold a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
