Job summary

GEA is seeking an experienced Director of Supply Chain to lead our global supply chain organization in Søborg, Denmark. You will drive operational excellence across logistics, shipping, and procurement interfaces while building a high-performing team to support our growth ambitions.

Qualifications

• Several years of international supply chain, logistics, or shipping experience.
• At least 5 years of people leadership in a global environment.
• Strong understanding of international transport, import/export laws, and governance.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP S/4HANA or SAP.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or Supply Chain.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop the supply chain team and drive logistics from pre-sales to delivery.
• Define and execute supply chain development initiatives aligned with global strategy.
• Establish KPI culture with systematic follow-up and continuous improvement.

In this leadership role, you will be responsible for driving operational excellence across logistics, shipping, procurement interfaces, and supply chain performance while developing a high-performing team and supporting our global growth ambitions.

Based in Søborg, you will join an organization which is undergoing significant changes, and you will lead the Supply Chain organization and become part of the Procurement & Supply Chain leadership team.

Responsibilities / Tasks

As Director of Supply Chain, you will lead, coach, and develop the supply chain team and drive logistics and shipping from pre-sales to delivery. You will also lead supply chain development and optimization initiatives while supporting global capabilities and ensuring compliance across the function.

Moreover, you will:

• Establish and drive a performance-oriented culture with systematic KPI follow-up and continuous improvement
• Ensure efficient handling of import/export documentation, invoices, letters of credit, and transport claims
• Define and execute supply chain development initiatives aligned with the global supply chain strategy

Your Profile / Qualifications

You are a leader who inspires collaboration and continuous improvement and can translate strategy into operational execution.

Finally, we imagine that you:

• Have several years of experience within supply chain, logistics, and/or shipping in an international environment, including at least 5 years of people leadership
• Possess strong understanding of international transportation, import/export legislation, and supply chain governance
• Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP S/4HANA, SAP, or similar business systems
• Strong financial and commercial understanding
• Hold a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
