Job summary

Novo Nordisk is seeking an Associate Director for P&O and Quality AI Solutions in Denmark. You will set the strategic direction for AI across People & Organisation and Quality, leading data platforms and AI products from build through operations to deliver measurable business impact.

Qualifications

• Master's degree, MBA or similar in software engineering, economics, CS, data science, AI, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of professional experience, including substantial experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong experience in IT management, programme leadership and strategy development.
• Solid experience with AI and data, translating innovation into scalable solutions and measurable impact.
• Proven ability to lead through highly specialised employees, delegating responsibility and empowering teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills in complex environments.
• Structured, results-oriented approach with proactive problem-solving.
• Inclusive, empathetic leadership across cultures.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the strategy for P&O and Quality AI Solutions aligned with organisational goals and outcomes.
• Act as Solution Owner for relevant P&O and Quality data solutions and AI products across development, support and operations.
• Drive innovation and strategic initiatives to simplify and improve the data and AI landscape.
• Lead organisational design, development, training, planning and resource use.
• Collaborate with Business Owners, Product Management and Enterprise AI Management on budgets and investments.
• Build stakeholder alignment across Enterprise AI, P&O, Quality and other lines of business.
• Provide inclusive people leadership in line with Novo Way and AI leadership principles.
