Job summary

Novo Nordisk in Denmark seeks a Sr. Director for Expression Engineering, Bioanalysis & ADME to lead two Centres of Excellence and drive the strategy for peptide and protein discovery towards first human dose.

You will guide senior leaders and a high-performing team across molecular expression, PK, and ADME, aligning with RCE, CMC, CROs, and academic partners. You will mentor department heads, foster collaboration, and sponsor initiatives that accelerate milestones while maintaining regulatory

Qualifications

• PhD in Life Sciences or related field required.
• 10+ years in pharma/biotech R&D with drug discovery experience.
• Proven track record leading senior researchers and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Set strategic and operational direction for EEBA.
• Oversee molecular expression, bioanalysis, PK, and ADME deliverables.
• Manage capacity and FHD critical path activities.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with RCE, CMC/GMS and CROs.
• Ensure regulatory and ethical standards compliance.
• Mentor department managers and nurture talent.
• Sponsor cross-organisational initiatives to improve outcomes.
• Represent area in steering committees.
