Ascendis Pharma is seeking a Director to lead the Group Accounting & Reporting team in Hellerup, Denmark. You will drive external reporting under IFRS, align with US GAAP and SEC rules, and help develop accounting policies for a global group.
You will manage a six-person team, partner with cross-functional Global Finance, and advance AI-enabled reporting and process improvements.

We are seeking a passionate Director to join our growing team, where you will play a crucial role in taking our Group Accounting & Reporting team to the next level. You will be joining the Group Accounting & Reporting team, consisting of six colleagues, and will report directly to Hasse Hedberg, VP of Group Accounting & Reporting. In this role, you will lead and develop the team while driving the Group's accounting and external reporting activities. You will be based in Hellerup.
Your key responsibilities will be:
Qualifications and Skills:
You hold a relevant academic degree, preferably cand.merc.aud., and have a minimum of 10 years of experience in audit and/or accounting.
