Job summary

Copenhagen Energy Islands (CEI), a Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners subsidiary, seeks a Director to lead multiple teams across technical, commercial, stakeholder and financial workstreams and to drive external relationships with partners and advisors.

You will oversee investment cases, financial models and fundraising activities, while developing senior leadership insights and managing joint ventures in a dynamic, global environment.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of relevant experience in project development or infrastructure investment.
• Background in offshore wind, hydrogen, Oil & Gas or related energy development.
• Knowledge of regulatory environments and stakeholder engagement practices.
• Experience leading international teams and governance structures.

Responsibilities

• Maximize the CEI investment value of energy hub opportunities you work on.
• Coordinate development activities with workstream managers within the project team.
• Build and mature investment cases for the CEI project you work on.
• Own the project financial model and ensure consistent use across projects.
• Be the CEI focal point for joint venture partners and manage related agreements.
• Develop insights and high-quality presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
• Advise CEI leadership on portfolio management and resource allocation.
• Support CEI fundraising activities and manage certain workstreams.
• Participate in origination of new project opportunities and market analysis.
• Mentor Managers, Associates and Analysts and contribute to a professional environment.
• Contribute to team growth through interviews and candidate ranking.
