Job summary

Siemens EDA is seeking a Corporate Application Engineer to provide technical support for Tessent DFT products. You will train customers and internal staff, tackling complex DFT issues across IC designs and industries.

This role offers a hybrid work model and opportunities to deepen DFT expertise, with occasional business travel and close collaboration with global teams.

Qualifications

• BS EE or MS EE with focus on IC/VLSI testing and DFT is required.
• Experience with IC/VLSI design, testing, and DFT is required.
• Knowledge of DFT structures and ATPG flows is highly desirable.

We are seeking a talented Corporate Application Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential technical support to our customers utilizing our Tessent Design-For-Test (DFT) products. You will also be responsible for delivering product instruction to both our customers and internal field personnel. This position offers a unique opportunity to deepen your understanding of advanced DFT techniques and their application in various IC designs across industries such as AI, Automotive, Cellular Phones, and many more.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Corporate Application Engineer, your role will involve:

• Staying current with the latest advancements in Scan Insertion, ATPG, BIST, and Diagnosis tools.
• Collaborating with our Application Engineers and customers worldwide to resolve complex technical DFT issues.
• Developing and delivering best-in-class product and flow support for DFT.
• Readiness for occasional business travel (less than 10% of working time).

Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

• A Bachelor's (BSEE) or Master's (MSEE) degree in Electrical Engineering, with a Master's degree being preferred.
• At least two years of experience in IC/VLSI design, specifically in IC/VLSI testing and design for testability.
• Preferred experience includes design, simulation, and verification of IC/VLSI circuits and systems, design verification, and product test generation.
• An in-depth understanding of Design for Test (DFT) structures is required.
• Knowledge of Scan Data Compression methodologies and ATPG flows and/or MemoryBIST Flows is highly desired.
• Experience with CAD tools such as Synthesis, Simulation, ATPG, Memory BIST, Logic BIST, and Boundary Scan.
• Strong troubleshooting skills are essential.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills and customer-facing skills are a must.

Preferred Experience in Specific Areas:

• UNIX, Linux.
• Verilog (Behavioral, RTL, gate level), System Verilog, VHDL (Behavioral, RTL, gate level), TCL.

Compensation & Benefits

The salary range for this position is ILS 216,700 to PLN 368,400 and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate's job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
