A complete application in a minute — tailored resume and cover letter, ready to send.
Intempus ApS, a Danish software company, is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to keep our time-tracking platform reliable and scalable. You will own CI/CD pipelines, automate infrastructure, and collaborate with developers to improve tooling and deployment workflows.
You should have at least 7 years in a DevOps role, strong Linux administration, Python, and IaC tools like Terraform and Ansible, plus container orchestration experience with Kubernetes or Nomad.
At Intempus, our goal is simple: make time tracking as easy, intelligent and automated as it can possibly be. We're building the future of time tracking and our ambitions are high. This means that our system needs to deliver a stable and great user experience at all times — especially since our user base keeps growing fast.
That’s why we’re looking for you: an experienced DevOps Engineer ready for the challenge.
A role where you can grow, learn and make a real impact
A helpful, social and diverse workplace with a flat hierarchy and open communication
A healthy work/life balance
55 friendly, driven and skilled colleagues
Flexibility, including two days of remote work per week
A centrally located, modern office at Visma House in Carlsberg Byen, Copenhagen
… and much more!
As part of our four people DevOps team, your main responsibility will be keeping our systems running smoothly around the clock. More specifically, you will:
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines that ensure fast, reliable and secure delivery of changes to our applications
Automate infrastructure and server configuration using tools like Ansible, Terraform or whatever fits best — we're moving from a fully manual setup to infrastructure and configuration that's fully documented and managed as code
Monitor and troubleshoot day-to-day issues across our servers and applications
Design and implement improvements using the best tools the DevOps ecosystem has to offer — anything from a new secrets management solution to better container deployment workflows
Collaborate with developers to improve tooling around development and test environments
Keep our infrastructure and applications updated and secure
Automate wherever possible, to cut down on manual effort and maintenance overhead
You're proactive and take ownership of your work. You thrive in a team with plenty of freedom, where ideas are shared openly and people genuinely listen to and support each other.
You communicate clearly, both in writing and in person, and you actively help foster a good team environment.
You hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent, and you bring at least 7 years of experience in a DevOps role or similar (e.g. System Administrator).
Managing Linux systems for at least two years (we run Debian-based Linux across all our servers)
Bash scripting — you're comfortable working in a bash shell
Docker — building, testing, deploying and maintaining containerized applications in production
A programming language (our CI/CD pipeline and much of our automation is written in Python)
git
A CI/CD tool (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.)
An infrastructure-as-code tool, ideally Terraform
A configuration management tool, ideally Ansible
Container orchestration (e.g. Kubernetes, HashiCorp Nomad)
Managing PostgreSQL databases
Cloud services with any provider
