Avanta Works in Kolding, Denmark is seeking a skilled DevOps Developer to design, implement and maintain our development processes and infrastructure. The role is full-time in Kolding with potential for remote work for the right candidate.

You will automate deployment and monitoring, collaborate across teams, and help scale our infrastructure using AWS/Azure and container tech. Strong scripting, Linux expertise, and SDLC/Agile experience are required; accommodation is provided.

DevOps Developer

We are hiring a talented and experienced DevOps Developer to join our team in Kolding. As a DevOps Developer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our software development processes and infrastructure. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1500$ per month and accommodation provided.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain software development processes and infrastructure
• Automate deployment, monitoring, and management of applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration of new features and updates
• Troubleshoot issues in development, testing, and production environments
• Manage code repositories, build systems, and deployment pipelines
• Continuously improve the efficiency and scalability of our infrastructure

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Minimum of 3 years experience as a DevOps Engineer or related role
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Ruby
• Strong knowledge of Linux operating system and command line tools
• Experience with configuration management tools like Chef or Puppet
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure
• Good understanding of software development life cycle and agile methodologies

Preferred qualifications

• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker or Kubernetes
• Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Prometheus or Grafana
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git or SVN

Location

This position is based in Kolding but remote work may be possible for the right candidate.
