Job summary

The LEGO Group is seeking a Design Engineer Manager, Element Coach, to help people, ideas and product development come together to create high-quality LEGO bricks that inspire play experiences. You will coach, partner and provide technical guidance to support decisions while maintaining quality, compatibility and play value across the system.

You will join System & Material Governance, championing the LEGO building system across DUPLO, LEGO and Technic, governing platform and system

Qualifications

Solid experience in Mechanical Engineering, Design Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related discipline, with coaching or product development experience.
Guided complex product-development initiatives from ideation to implementation, establishing standards, governance, and ways of working.
Partnered with cross-functional teams across Design and Engineering, building alignment and enabling outcomes.
Applied quantitative analysis, data analytics, and systems thinking to evaluate decisions and product integrity.

Responsibilities

Lead and coach product-development teams to improve governance, quality and development standards.
Drive alignment between Design, Engineering and Operations, strengthening the LEGO building system.
Support Design for Manufacturing and sustainability initiatives across development projects.
