Job summary

IKEA Denmark is seeking a curious Data Analyst to turn data into trusted insights and decision support. You will work with the Insights & Analytics team across the Danish organisation to build strong data solutions and make performance easier to understand and act on.

Your responsibilities include building dashboards, modeling data, writing SQL, conducting exploratory analysis and translating business questions into analytical solutions.

Qualifications

• Solid experience as a Data Analyst, Business Analyst, BI Developer or similar role
• Strong SQL and Python skills, comfortable with large and complex datasets
• Experience with data modelling, data transformation and reliable data structures for reporting

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions
• Create data models, measures and datasets that are reliable and scalable
• Write SQL queries to extract, transform and prepare data for analysis and reporting
• Conduct exploratory analysis to identify patterns, gaps, opportunities and business drivers
• Collaborate with Insights Leaders to combine findings with business understanding
• Translate business questions into data requirements and analytical solutions
• Improve data quality, definitions and documentation with Data Governance & Activation Leader
• Explore AI-assisted methods to improve analysis and reporting
• Communicate findings clearly with visuals to help stakeholders understand actions
