Job summary

Wood Supply is seeking a Business Analyst to translate data into actionable insights for management. You will develop analyses and reporting solutions using Power BI, SQL, and Excel, focusing on customer engagement trends and broader business performance.

You will join a small Data and Analysis team, collaborating across stakeholders to validate data, simplify dashboards, and document definitions. Professional English is required; Danish skills are an advantage.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in economics, data, business analytics, BI or similar.
• At least two years of experience in data analysis, reporting, BI or performance follow-up in a business context.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to identify patterns, causes and inconsistencies in data.
• Able to explain data, assumptions and limitations clearly to non-data specialists.

Responsibilities

• Prepare business-related analyses that support management reporting and internal decision-making.
• Work with SQL, Power BI models, Excel and other data sources to support analyses and reporting.
• Present findings, assumptions and limitations clearly within the team and in reporting material.
• Contribute to building, maintaining and improving Power BI reports and BI files.
• Help simplify dashboard logic, coding and design for clarity and consistency.
• Compare data across systems (Business Central, CRM, SQL sources, Power BI models).
• Investigate data differences between reports, systems and sources.
• Support validation before reports are shared by checking figures are reliable.
• Document report logic, data definitions, calculations and data limitations.
• Support a structured, transparent reporting environment for the team.
