Job summary

Weibel Scientific, a world leader in radar technology, seeks a Technical Defense Systems Lead / Defense Systems Architect to translate customer requirements into deliverable, high-performing defense solutions. The role interfaces with customers, project managers, subsystem architects, and engineering teams to steer technical decisions and manage requirements.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical/Systems/Software/Physics/Aerospace or related technical discipline
• Several years of experience delivering complex technical systems
• Experience with customers and external stakeholders
• Experience with MBSE methodologies and tools
• Experience with defense systems qualification, verification, testing or acceptance
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)

Responsibilities

• Lead technical execution of development of complex defense systems
• Drive requirements definition, analysis, and traceability throughout the project lifecycle
• Coordinate activities across software, hardware, subsystems, and test & verification
• Perform technical trade-off analyses and support engineering decisions
• Support project planning, technical estimations, and risk assessments
• Facilitate technical reviews and customer design reviews
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and military standards
• Contribute to continuous improvement of systems engineering processes and tools
• Support development of future product capabilities and technology roadmaps
