Join Novo Nordisk as a Data Visualization & Analysis Intern and help transform manufacturing data into actionable insights that support better decision‑making across our production network.

Your new role

As a Data Visualization & Analysis Intern, you will become part of a team working with manufacturing, equipment and quality data to support data‑driven decision‑making. This is an opportunity to gain practical experience within analytics, dashboard development, and data pipelines while collaborating with experienced colleagues across Novo Nordisk.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting data analysis activities by identifying trends, patterns, and insights that enable informed business decisions.
  • Contributing to ensuring continuous flow of data by troubleshooting and testing data pipelines and designing monitoring solutions to catch issues promptly.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders, dashboard users, data owners, and subject‑matter experts to understand business needs and translate them into analytical solutions.
  • Documenting dashboards, calculations, data sources, and processes while sharing learnings and insights with the wider team.

You will work closely with experienced colleagues who will support your development and provide mentoring as you gain exposure to real‑world manufacturing data challenges and analytical projects.

Your new department

In CMC & Product Supply, we cover the full value chain from drug and device development to marketed Novo Nordisk products. We are more than 30,000 colleagues globally, dedicated to supplying life‑changing medicines to the patients who need them most.

Within Manufacturing Excellence, our team designs, develops, and implements data collection, visualisation, and analytics solutions supporting Global Manufacturing Supply. We work with a wide range of stakeholders to transform manufacturing data into valuable insights that improve operational performance and decision‑making. As our new intern, you will play an active role in supporting this mission while developing your technical and professional capabilities in a collaborative learning environment.

Your skills and qualifications

We are looking for a curious and motivated student who enjoys working with data and wants to build practical experience within analytics and visualisation. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are eager to learn new technologies and ways of working.

To succeed in this role, you will ideally have:

  • Ongoing Bachelor's or Master's studies within Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Analytics, Information Technology, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
  • Experience creating dashboards in Power BI through coursework, projects, student jobs, or other practical experience.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL and data analysis concepts, with an interest in developing your analytical skills further.
  • Strong attention to detail and an interest in data quality, dashboard design, and user experience.
  • Fluent English communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues from different professional backgrounds.

Experience with Grafana, Python, Cloud analytics, or UX/UI principles is considered an advantage but is not required. Most importantly, you bring curiosity, a proactive mindset, and a willingness to learn.
