Job summary

Københavns Universitet invites applications for a Research Data Manager to support the Danish Precision Health Initiative (DELPHI) at the Novo Nordisk Foundation Center for Basic Metabolic Research. The role focuses on data collection, cleaning, and preparing data for use in a large multi-modal study.

The successful candidate will develop automated data quality workflows, ensure data governance, and work closely with the Data Analytics Platform and DELPHI team.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in software engineering, computer science, bioinformatics or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Strong programming skills in an object-oriented language.
• Experience automating data workflows.
• Experience with version control.
• Proficient in Danish; good English communication.
• Experience in statistics, data cleaning, or quality control.
• Understanding GDPR data processing responsibilities.
• Experience managing research data.

Responsibilities

• Data cleaning and data curation to keep data usable, understandable, accessible, and reusable over time.
• Develop and maintain automated data quality control and curation workflows.
• Support data collection and integration for the DELPHI study in collaboration with the Data Analytics Platform.
• Engage with researchers and ensure data governance and security compliance.
