Job summary

Novo Nordisk A/S in Denmark is seeking a Data Engineering Intern to work with the Quality Data Hub and cloud-based data pipelines. You will gain hands-on experience with Python, SQL, automated testing, and cloud-based data platforms, while receiving regular guidance and feedback from the team.

You will gradually take ownership of improvements from implementation through testing and documentation. Based in Enterprise IT & Quality, you will help ensure data reliability and quality for reporting

Qualifications

Currently pursuing a degree in software engineering, computer science, data science, engineering, or related subject at master's level.
Basic experience with Python, SQL, and Git.
Understand fundamental software development concepts.
Interested in testing, debugging, and data quality.
Willing to work 2–3 days on-site per week.

Responsibilities

Improve data pipelines using Python and SQL.
Add automated tests and data quality checks.
Investigate and fix pipeline failures by reviewing logs, test results, and source data.
Support improvements to GitHub-based development and deployment processes.
Maintain workflows, technical documentation, and operational guides.
Collaborate with engineers and data specialists to understand requirements and find practical solutions.
