Job summary

ECCO SKO A/S is seeking a Data Engineer to build and operate enterprise data pipelines that power ECCO's data platform and analytics landscape. You will design, deploy, and maintain scalable data workflows while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enable trusted data across business domains.

You will leverage Python, SQL and modern tooling (Airflow, dbt, Terraform) to ensure data quality, performance and observability, while keeping documentation and best practices front and center.

Qualifications

• Requires master’s level or PhD in science/engineering.
• Strong Python and SQL skills with data warehousing experience.
• Experience with ETL/ELT pipelines and modern data platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy, and operate data pipelines for timely data availability.
• Implement data validation checks and data quality instrumentation.
• Deploy and maintain data storage and processing systems.
