Job summary

Saab Danmark A/S is seeking a Data Engineer to build the data foundation for modern engineering, connecting engineering data and improving digital workflows. The role prepares data for AI-enabled engineering and supports MBSE initiatives, with responsibilities spanning pipelines, governance, data models, and dashboards.

The successful candidate will collaborate across engineering, IT, and business teams, turning data into business value, while maintaining an ownership mindset and delivering

Qualifications

• Experience in Data Engineering, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, Data Science, or Computer Science.
• Strong background in Python, SQL, APIs, and knowledge of cloud platforms, Power BI, graph databases, or engineering lifecycle tools.
• Experience with AI technologies is an advantage but not a requirement.

Profile & Qualifications

• Experience in Data Engineering, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, Data Science, or Computer Science
• Strong background in Python, SQL, APIs, and knowledge of cloud platforms, Power BI, graph databases, or engineering lifecycle tools
• Experience with AI technologies is an advantage but not a requirement
• Ability to solve complex problems, connect information, and turn data into business value

Candidates must be able to obtain a security clearance by the Danish Defence Intelligence Service. This entails that candidates, as a minimum, have had residency within NATO/EU for the last 7 years.
