Job summary

Hitachi Rail Denmark A/S is seeking a Data Communication Network Work Package Leader to own the Data Communication Network scope, drive interfaces, and support installation, testing and handover for a major railway solution. You will lead subsystem design, allocate requirements, coordinate FAT/SAT, ensure documentation is complete and traceable, and report progress to governance.

A strong background in routing, switching, IP addressing, and cybersecurity is essential, with 7+ years in leadership

Qualifications

• 7+ years in WPL or lead roles within data communication networks.
• Experience with routing/switching, IP addressing, cybersecurity, and interfaces.
• Proven ability to manage suppliers and multi-stakeholder interfaces.
• Railway or large systems experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own Data Communication Network scope, schedule, budget inputs, risks, issues, dependencies, supplier delivery and acceptance milestones.
• Ensure data network requirements, architecture, interface documents, design outputs, procurement deliverables, installation work packs and handover records are complete and traceable.
• Coordinate FAT, SAT, integration testing, defect resolution, cybersecurity/safety/RAM/quality evidence, and O&M data inputs.
• Lead subsystem design, requirement allocation, interface closure, support installation/testing, analyze defects and prepare handover evidence.
• Report progress, blockers, change exposure and readiness status to Engineering and Project Governance.
